What is a Secure Password?
A secure password has sufficient length and a variety of character types to resist brute force and dictionary attacks. It is generally recommended to use at least 12 characters with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters.
How to Use
- Set the desired password length with the slider. (Recommended: 16 or more characters)
- Select the character types to include (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, special characters).
- Enable the exclude similar characters option if needed.

Yes, this tool uses the browser's Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues) to generate cryptographically secure random numbers. Passwords are not transmitted to a server, and all generation is done entirely in your browser.
A minimum of 12 characters is recommended, with 16 or more being ideal. The longer the password, the exponentially greater its resistance to brute force attacks. For important accounts (banking, email, etc.), using passwords of 20 characters or more is recommended.
It is useful when you need to read or manually type passwords. It excludes visually similar characters like lowercase l, number 1, and uppercase I to reduce input errors. If you use a password manager, turning off this option is more secure.
